you're another idiot that is trying to live your own failed dreams through not even your own children but someone else's.

mind your own business and provide the child with the means to pursue his OWN dreams and aspirations when he grows up enough to decide what those are...otherwise you do the child a great disservice and taint the responsibilities of your position as a Godparent....as well as abusing the trust and respect of his parents, who obviously think more of you than you deserve

with an attitude like that toward your own selfish wants and needs you sure were a poor choice for such an important position in the child's life.

I worked my now three yr old who hits almost hard as me and he LOVES tennis and knows most of the players..BE sure he if that's what he wants to do. First DO NOT push your child. Buy him the correct racket and start out standing in front of him(not you on one side of the net and he on the other) throw him a few balls and let him hit and then when he can hit the ball and you teach him hitting techniques ..then get him to hit the ball over the net (not with u on the other side) throw him a ball with him in the middle of the court and tell him to TRY to hit it over the net...when he gets that down then you go to the other end and with your racket you hit him some slow paced balls and take it from there...next steps will be hitting the ball the correct way such as like your "throwing a bag of patatoes over your shoulder" etc....If he doesn't get it right away DO NOT PUSH HIM Or GET DISCOURAGE just keep at it and before you know it he will be a pro!!
