Default I have a tennis question?

Pretend I am serving in a game of Tennis. My first serve hits the net, BUT goes to the opponents side. Is that a fault? Or just doesn't count?

It's not a fault. But the serve is replayed.

If you serve and the ball hits the net tape and falls into the correct service box, then it is called a let and you replay the one serve. If the ball hits the net tape and falls outside of the service box it is a fault. You get 2 chances to get the ball into the service box.

It is called a "let". This means that it is not a fault, but it does not count either. You get to reserve. You still have 2 serves left.
