Default how to get in a swimming team?

I just wanna know how to get in a local swimming team, I'm not looking forward to joining the US team, I just want to join a state or city team.
My question is, how do you get in a swimming team in Clifton, NJ?Where is the swimming team or club located at?
Btw, please tell me specific information about them, and please tell me clubs or teams that are in Clifton or near, not that far, because I don't have a car, I'm pretty young.

Thanx.

Go to clubswim.com and do a search, all you should have to do is 1 length across the pool. Tell the coach you just want to learn, look for a developmental team.
It does take some time for endurance to build up 1 to 2 months depending on how many days a week you swim. I recommend at least 3.
GOOD LUCK
