Ireland are a team I really can't understand in that they have been so strong in the past few years but never seem to make it. Why? Something I just cannot explain. For the past few years I have thought surely it's Ireland's time but it never has been. Not being partisan but my country (Wales) are really looking good again this year but, whoever wins the Championship I don't the the Grandslam is on for anyone.

Wales.
The only other contender is Ireland as stated.
This mumbo jumbo about France even getting near Wales is ridiculous.

After seeing Ireland playing the first half-hour of their game against Italy, I was very confident that Wales would thrash them. Their second-half performance however, sowed a seed of doubt. Both Wales and Ireland have two potential banana-skins before then though,...England and France won't roll over to give us a shot at the Grand Slam. They should take it one game at a time.
I'm still hopeful that Wales can make it back to back Grand Slam wins though.
