As much as football is a sports, it has also steadily evolved to a lucrative business. That's why you rich folks buying out clubs because there is currently a boom in this industry.
The situation is not exclusive in football. We can see commercialisation in almost all major sports: NFL, NBA, NHL, Major League, etc.
Don't think it is a very big issue until clubs squeeze the life out of supporters. Or it departs from its primary focus: football.
